Improved/proper animal breeding practices contributing to animal genetics and farm income.
The following activities are planned under the Component 3:
- Establish a Pig Genetic Center in Armenia.
- Organize training sessions on the proper animal breeding for veterinarians and farmers in Armenia and Georgia.
- Ensure the technical and financial sustainability of demo projects on animal breeding and animal health issues in Armenia and Georgia .
- Organize events promoting experience and knowledge exchange between Armenian, Georgian and Austrian agencies, NGOs, advanced veterinarians and farmers on best practices of Animal Health and Animal Breeding.
